I'll have to look a little closer. We have a nice one here in town. Was it in the camping section

Sorry Loader for hijacking
I just want to make biscuits and chicken that looks that good.
Did you have to tend to it much after you put it in the pot?

No worries, you're not hijacking, still talking DO.

I rotated the DO a 1/4 turn over the coals every 15-20 mins, then rotated the lid in the opposite direction. Helps with even cooking.

We found a good place to look here was the Army surplus stores. One had quite an inventory of a lot of the Lodge products. We also have a Bass Pro shop here that carries a large inventory, it is like Cabela's. Do you have an Atwood's farm store? They carry a lot and often have it at 20% off. Then there is Target. Go on line and bring up the Lodge cast iron cookware and you can find out where it is sold in your area.

I am really excited to learn to cook in the DO. That chicken and biscuits looked wonderful. We are going to camp out in the back yard and set everything up and try our hand at the DO cooking before we head out to Minden.

Give us some more lessons on DO cooking!

Scott,

Yeah, in the camping section. But they were always down on a bottom shelf, that made them a little harder to see.

You might be right sounds like work, I've always been a fan of the hotdog on a stick and a beer.

Ira,

If that's the way you feel, then I'm not going to mention how much time I have spent searching Ebay for cast iron waffle irons.

BTW, I have been known as a crackPOT for most of my life. I mean, think about it, I am building a camper from scratch in my garage. What kind of person does that except a crackpot..... oh yeah, that is all of us......
