GREAT NEWS!!!

Although the flu is still hitting me hot and hard, I think the main fever has passed.

Which means any hallucinations I may have had about getting into this kind of cooking have passed.

WHEW!

That was a close one. I was almost on my way to WM.

Ira, I'll try to keep this on topic. I think you got hit in da head by Dean's 22-incher(the Dutch Oven). He should have used a smaller one. I'm glad you are getting over your flu.

I have made that black forest cobbler serveral times and brought to pot lucks, and it is always gone and I get lots of compliments. And it is so easy to make!

I have some home-grown and butchered beef that deserves to go into a fine stew. I am not having good luck finding a stew recipe for a 10" DO.

Like some one said, sort of... you have the DO you have. I need a recipe that fits. :lol: :lol:

This is a nice little dutch oven book. it says volume 4. Has anyone seen volumes 1 through 3? :thinking:

Volume 4 just means that they revised it three times.
