Chicken rice and biscuits

2 cups long grain rice
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup frozen onion seasoning blend
2 Tbsp Mrs Dash garlic & Herb
1 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
2 1/2 cups water
4 chicken breast, sprinkled with lemon pepper, cooked and cubed
1 10-pack refrigerated biscuits


In 10" Dutch Oven
Mix chicken, rice, sour cream, onion, Mrs Dash,vegetables, and both cans of soup, Worchestershire sauce and water. Place biscuits on top of mixture and cover with lid.

Place 14 coals on lid and 8 on bottom. Cook until biscuits are done. Usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

Dude, that looks good!! Kind of like a chicken pot pie with biscuits for the crust. What is frozen onion seasoning mix? Never heard of that one.

I should of called it onion seasoning blend. It's frozen chopped onions, celery, green & red peppers, parsley flakes. You find it in the frozen vegetable section. It's made by Pictsweet http://www.pictsweet.com/

If it's not sold in your area I would think another brand would be offered.

I like to use it when I make scrambled eggs and hash browns.

Warpony,
I've found that seasoning blend in the freezer case at Albertson's and HEB.
For some reason United doesn't carry it. Don't know about Wal-Mart...
Mopar's what my busted knuckles bleed, working on my 318s...
