Joanne's Mexican Corn Bread

Ingredients

1 cup All purpose flour
2/3 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Corn meal
1 Tbs Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/3 cup Red & Green bell peppers, chopped
1/4 cup Green chilies, diced (4 oz can)
1/2 cup Corn, drained (8 oz can)
1 1/4 cup Milk
2 Eggs, Large
1/3 cup Vegetable oil
3 Tbs Margarine

Process

- Chop bell pepper
- Drain corn, green chilies
- Beat eggs, milk, and oil in mixing bowl
- Add dry ingredients
- Fold in bell pepper, corn and chilies
- Pour into oiled, preheated, 12 inch Dutch Oven
- Bake at 450 degrees for 25-30 minutes
