Keep it in the frig. 2 week shelf life. If you have a vacum sealer you would have 4 to 5 week shelf life in or out of the frig.

I want to find a sweet and tangy recipe now. Not too spicey though.

Oh yeah, I would be interested in a sweet 'n tangy!
Making my second batch of teriyaki as we speak - it's in the dehydrator. Gonna send it (well most of it, anyway) down to SoCal to my son in college. A little surprise for him because I miss him! This time I tried some different cuts of meat - whatever was in the clearance bin at Safeway - although I can't remember exactly what I bought. I think as long as you trim the fat and slice it across the grain it should be fine....
