That is where I got my burmer too. The brew kettle was too wide and would use too much oil so I ended up with one that is narrower for the bird and big one for the beer.
I could not get enough friends to help me get rid of 10 gallons of beer at a time and started to wear in on my waistline. I donated all my equipment to my nephew who brews professionally during the week and at home on the weekends. I get a case or two of ourstanding beer every birthday and Christmas. And I have great turkey when I want it. :thumbsup:
I did an 8# "free range" bird in 30 minutes this year. Very nice
