How hot are your peppers?

Postby Mike B » Tue Sep 04, 2012 9:42 am

If you've ever wondered, I have a solution.

http://www.blogicalthoughts.com/chili_peppers_heat.html

This came up when I was making Salsa Verde yesterday.

    4 medium tomatillos
    1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 cup chopped green onion (tops)
    3 to 5 Serrano peppers
    1 tsp salt
    3 cloves garlic, chopped

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Refrigerate when not using the salsa. Makes about 12 ounces.
