So this winter a friend an myself have been doing lots of roasts on the Bbq...his neighbors hate us...We usually freeze the leftovers to use in a stir fry, But I'm wondering what else could we do with them? What do you do with your leftovers??

Beef roast can be cut up and put in with some gravy and frozen noodles. A great cold weather food. Add veggies for a complete meal in a bowl. A pot roast with potatoes and veggies (all leftovers) also go great with ramen noodles (don't use the entire seasoning packet). You can use the packaged broth of your choice in place of the water/seasoning packet. For pork we usually shred it up and serve it with gravy over mashed potatoes. Or make pork burritos. You can also do variations of all of these with a turkey breast.

Roast beef hash is a biggie for us. Precook some potatoes in the wave. Dice and fry beef and potatoes with some onions, turning as things brown. When nearly done, press down the mixture in the frypan and make some depressions with a large spoon. Crack an egg into each depression, lid the pan and cook until the eggwhites set up. I'm gettting hungry just htinking about it.

Best,
Tom

Shepherd's pie is traditionally made with lamb or mutton, but beef works just as well. Ground/chopped meat and gravy under a top crust of mashed potatoes.

Google for recipes.

Add chunks of meat to stews, chili, and soups.
