I love quick, easy meals with little or no Clean up!

I always cook with left overs in mind and have a saying.

"If you liked it as an en-tray, You'll Love it as a Left Over"

This is where the Boil in Bag comes in.

Usually on a Friday night I get to a site late and don't like to bring a lot of stuff out to cook a big meal.

Enter the Zip-Loc Freezer Bag.

Bag your left overs separately, Lets say, Meat Loaf in one, Veggies in another and maybe a third for Potatoes. The same left overs from the meal you had the Wednesday before.

When you get to your site boil a big pot of water, put the bagged food in the boiling water and shut the flame off. Continue setting up your site and in about 15 or 20 minutes remove the Zippy Bags from the Pot and dump the food onto a Paper plate.

Nothing more than Retro Microwaving.

Your done!

For clean up throw out the old Zip-Loc bags, the paper plate and disposable utensils. You don't even have to clean the Pot! Just dump the clean water out.

Now, Mexican Spaghetti.

Before you leave make up some Pasta. Spaghetti, Elbow Noodles, Ziti it doesn't matter. Rinse in cold water (to stop them from cooking) put them in a Zippy bag and dump a can of Chilli in the bag. Mix it all up and chill.

And when you get to camp, repeat the Boil in Bag process.

Don't get me wrong, I Love to Cook. But sometimes ya just want something quick and easy.

Happy Trails
