whats the best way to cook a trout freshly cought off your fishing line when camping?

Plans. there was supposed to be plans to be followed when I built this thing. Opps! AH, gee, tum,tee tum. I think I forgot about the plans 2 years ago. ------Tow vehicles, 1995 ford explore, 1994 ford ranger, 1993 ford F-150, 2009 4x9 Off road teardrop, on harbor freight greatly modified frame.

I fillet it so there are no bones, put it in aluminum foil packet (I usually put several fillet stacked in the foil packet), add some butter, red pepper flakes and squeeze a lime over it. 5 minute each side over the coals, grill or stove burner. Eat out of the foil packet. No mess easy cleanup.

Theres only one way in my opinion to cook Trout. At Home or Camping.

Pan Fried in Bacon Grease.
