Baked beans, potatoes and porkchop

Postby felixx » Thu Dec 03, 2015 4:00 am

So tonight I put 2 porkchops in the DO
I poured a splash of oil and a liberal squirt of maple syrup over 2 pork chops

I then sprinkled some chilli flakes and jammed it into a preheated oven (150 deg c)
After 30 min I cut 3 potatoes in half and dropped them in the do after tirning the chops over and adding a splash of cocacola

anyway
After another 30 min I took the chops and spuds out and tipped a 400g can of drained, rinsed canneleini beans into the DO, a good liberal squirt of tomato paste, and 2 teaspoons of cornflower mixed into 1/4 cup of water and stirred it all together with the juice from the chops

I then added the spuds and placed the chops ontop pf them and cooked them at 200degC for a further 30 min

Then served with brocolli

Another winner! I have some pork chops in the freezer, and a can of beans. Looks like that will be on the menu next week!

I always enjoy your recipes, Felixx. You don't start with "Take a 12" DO," and finish with "Serves 8-10 generously."
