5'x8' Teardrop for sale $6800

This is a 5' x 8' Teardrop camper built on a northern tool frame that fits a queen size mattress and has plenty of storage including four compartments in the floor. The internal cabinets have three shelves for clothing and accessories. The vent fan is the newer 10 speed fan that is much quieter than the older fantastic fans and is also reversible ( I plan to upgrade to this fan on my older camper).

The camper is wired for 110v with one outlet inside the camper and one in the galley. There are also two 12v cigarette lighter outlets inside for charging phones, tablets, etc. The vent fan and reading lights are 12v and can run off of a deep cell battery on the front of the camper. There is an external hookup for cable / antenna if you want to install a TV on the inside between the two cabinets. If no TV is desired, then more shelving can be installed.

The galley is built to fit a 20” x 20” dorm refrigerator or a stand up cooler when shore power is not available. The two drawers have the self-closing slides that keep them closed when in transit.

The asking price is $6800 and can be delivered within a reasonable distance from Knoxville, TN.

How much does it weigh? What's the tongue weight?

The tongue weight is 112+/- with the battery and 81+/- without. I have not weighed the camper yet but it is built exactly the same as my blue one (see photo album) that weighs 840 lbs+/- empty. This one is built on a beefier frame but is 4" shorter so I would estimate that it is 950 to 1000 lbs.

Thank you Dianne. These are just the neatest campers. This one is built just like my blue one that we now have 16,000+ miles on. I wish I had had one of these years ago. They are a great midpoint between tents and the full size campers. Small enough to barely know its behind you but big enough to feel like you are in a small room instead of a nylon bag (tent).
