We love this camper, and just towed it almost 3,000 miles to Glacier National Park this summer with a V6 SUV. The original trailer was stripped down to the frame, and rebuilt from scratch. The original shape was maintained, but the only original parts remaining are the frame, hitch, and windows, which were all refurbished. I completed this restoration/rebuild in 2018, after a 3 1/2 year effort. Unfortunately over that time span, my kids got too big to share the booth/bed. As a result we’re selling this camper to buy a larger one that better fits our needs.
The restored trailer includes:
- fully insulated shell with structural insulated panel (SIP) construction
- all DC power, expandable to AC if desired
- LED lighting throughout
- Built in converter and on-board battery charger
- 2 high amp-hr batteries – previously used as solar storage, we’ve been away from power for two days with no issue
- Modern 7 pin tow connection
- Able to be charged/isolated from tow vehicle
- New torsion axle, with adjustable ride height. Tows great, with very little bounce.
- New Fan-Tastic vent with thermostat and rain sensor
- New DC Truckfridge
- New (less than a week of use) Eve Mattress – Full size
- CPAP ready
- Standard full bed and convertible booth (sleeps 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 small kids)
- Lots of storage
- Colorado Title (homebuilt)
- Full build photo journal and reference material if interested.
This trailer does not have:
- Toilet, shower, sink, or jacuzzi
- Stove, oven, fireplace, or any propane fixtures.
