SOLD Destroyed home built, good frame and axle

We built two. We lost one to catastrophic water damage. All interior and galley surfaces are damaged beyond repair.
Realistically, you'll want to tear it down to the frame and start again.

Custom professionally welded steel frame. 2,000 lb Flexiride full axle with electric brakes.
Nearly new, less than 500 miles on the trailer frame, tires, axle...
Great inverter/charger, Aims Power Systems PICOGLF20W12V120VR. New battery, 105 A/hr AGM.
All hardware and running lights and interior lights and a nearly new little window A/C

We're in a big hurry to get this taken away. It's in Columbus Ohio and should tow OK back to your house.
No reasonable offer refused, PM me.
This building thread shows everything about the construction.

This is the wooden one shown in most of the photos, it's brother the white one is perfectly fine.
Perhaps our little disaster can be a great start to something better for you.

I can't even imagine how I would have reacted. Could you share with us how the water got in and what you would do to prevent that in the future?

Thanks Tony and wysdav for the kind words. Sometimes we win, sometimes we learn.

We really don't understand how that much water got in at that many places.
Especially since the exact copy stood outside all winter too and is fresh as a daisy.

But, onwards and upwards, perhaps someone can make use of the salvageable bits.

It occurs to us to have an email available in addition to PM here at this site. Please contact

[email protected]

Let's talk price. The total new price of these nearly new items:

Frame with hitch receiver, jack and tongue box
Axle with brakes and tires
Inverter/Charger
Battery
cooktop

Is over $3,500. We're hoping to get some modest fraction of that value. Perhaps you can think of your work to demolish and dispose of the cabin as making up most of that number, and offer us the rest. The little goodies like running lights, fenders, door hinges, interior lights, A/C, windows, door latch are all just gravy for the lucky buyer who wants a great start for their own build. Bring a tow vehicle with a 2 inch ball.
:D 8)
