Tough to compete with Washington State Apple Orchardists!

Researching more mods and upgrades for future use. I also rediscovered a photo of an inspiration for the trailer, though I changed some details to enable me to build it my way. However, I wish I had the same sized off-road tires on mine!

Its totally the wrong time of year to do it but I bough new golf cart batteries today. I want to do a quick end-of-year trip and the old batteries wouldn't last the night anymore. The first batch lasted 4 seasons, which is pretty good for $40 reconditioned batteries. I bought new ones this time and they sure weren't that cheap! I'm hoping to get a least 4 seasons out of them like I did with the old ones. They're Deka 225 amp-hr GC batteries...

I added the rest of my Windows to my 13' Scotty HiLander. Cut out the wheel wells and cut out & framed for a rear compartment door.

So cool to see this post still floating top....knowing that the TnTTT member that started it, was kicked off the Forum over a year and a half ago for getting caught up in a discussion on "Prepping"
Something that is so unrelated to the building and enjoying Teardrop Trailers.
I don't really know if the person who started "that" post was kicked off also?......as the post was pulled before we could find that information.
Just saying?????
But, Thanks Steve for a post that has reached 44 pages! Hope you are still lurking as a guest???????

Fixed the holes Randy accidentally poked through the roof while fixing the electrical, replaced the door weatherstripping that had gotten stiff and generally got Monstreo ready for his long winter's nap over the weekend.

It is sad to think that camping season is over, and it that time of year already to winterize.
We hope to have at least 1 more night in Miss Piggy to reach our 2014 goal of 60 nights.

I winterized mine today. Drained the water tank and the water heater and flushed the pink RV antifreeze through the lines.
