Good Morning Maureen
Boy you were up early! 8)
So good to hear from you. :applause:
Slowly we are gathering everybody here!
And Yes, Sandi and I missed you guys too! Last night I looked at all the pictures and saw so many faces we recognize from the events we have participated in over the past two seasons. We miss all of you.
Did not see Greg in that group photo? Might have to put out an APB on him, as it is not like him to lurk without saying Hi! As you have read above....we have at least one more camping trip planed for October and may be meeting some new friends from Idaho and Western Wa. in Lake Chelan.
Please continue to post here with us.

Coming to the Lk Chelan State Park from Wenatchee on SR 97, make sure to take the Navarre Coulee cutoff. It drops you down to the lake right at the park and saves driving all the way in to Chelan and back out the South Shore Road. Added bonus is the great view of the lake just before you drop down to the park from the ridge.

Good Suggestion Bill
It is a nice drive thru that little valley too!
That turn off is just after you leave Entiat heading north.
Only two weeks away. :D

When you are planning for 2015 please keep Union Gap in mind. The third weekend in May and the third weekend in September. It is at the AG Museum and the grounds are beautiful. Watch for more details, the dates I posted are based on 2014, but the one in September is on the same weekend as the fair, and then one in May is the same weekend that the Museum has an open house. Back me up here Brian!
Just Remember, no matter where you go... there you are

We need Doug to chime in here to confirm dates he was considering?
As I don't remember the specifics of what we discussed at this year's Gap Gathering?? :wine: :wine: :wine: :wine:
But, I do remember some discussion about having it after the Fall Brigade and not on the same weekend as the Fair.??????
As for May?........The conflicts with other events or closeness in dates may have made it difficult to pull off.
Personally I think they should focus on making the event successful "once" a year, before trying to go to twice a year.
Just a thought?
Doug..........Where are you?

I agree it would be easier for me to be able to plan on one event than multiple and it gives me a date to shoot for to finish my build as well, lol.

Spent 2 nights at Copperfield Campground in Hells Canyon, then drifted north to Joseph, OR and camped a night on the lake there. Just got home, have time to do laundry and restock the teardrop for the drive to Lake Chelan. We will probably leave on Thursday, to arrive there on Thurs PM or Fri AM, since it is about an 8-hr drive for us. Look for bright Yellow!

It looks like we won't be attending- unfortunately we are at an age in which funerals are not uncommon and we will be attending one next Thursday that is a long way east of here. I will monitor this spot for future get-togethers.

So Sorry to hear of your loss.
Sometimes life does get in the way of camping, but life does come first!
There will be many more events that we can get together at!
Look forward to meeting you somewhere in the future.

We are assuming you are referring to the T.O.W. Newsletter??
If so you won't regret it.
For our Thanksgiving day off I got to clean out "Kermit" our new TD project donor car. While Sandi came out to help take measurements and discuss Galley possibilities???
A perfect day all around.
Check out our Build Journal. I will add todays pictures later tonight after Monday Night Football.
