Hey, if all you guys are busy putting the patina on The Copperwood, who's gonna be able to put out the campfire? Sounds like a fire risk to me.....

I bet a couple large bottles of Coca-Cola would have enough acid in it etch that copper top.

Of course if you want to run it through your own " Patina Machina " first….. Well I guess that's up to you! :) :lol: :D

My choice for using paint was the cost of covering materials and the added weight. A superior grade of name brand paint that is better than I have on my house because I only had to buy a gallon for the tear was my choice. My tear is getting used a lot and I expect it to get some wear and tear in the boonies. Repairs are easy. And it only takes a new paint job to give it a whole new look when I want to.
