Well, the kitchen is finished. Now if I could only get my room addition finished. Just hate depending on someone else. Image

Gage,
Very nice kitchen! And big! I especially like the stove set-up and that hanging head is quite interesting too :)

Very nice Gage,

Well use of space. I like the large pull-out drawer. Great job.

Gage, Nice job!! I really like the use of rolling cabinets...Could you explain how to do it? I'm pondering the layout of my galley as I write this. My galley area is a little short, due to an elongated bed area. Those sliders look like a real space multiplier!
Again Great Job!

Steve, Go to my teardrop project page 9 and you'll see how I did it (click the link below). Mainly what I've done is use drawer runners bought at most any hardware store. The ones I used for the stove and pantry are ball bearing 100# load rating ones. I can pull the stove out, put a dish pan of water on it and it doesn't even give (no flex). Hope that helps a little.

Have a good day,
Gage

Great Job! I took a look at the pictures on your web site and am really impressed with the engineering that went into this design. Well done.

By the way, I have met you brother, Gary, here in Morro Bay at our weekly Rotary Club meeting. He learned that I was building a teardrop and mentioned that his brother Gage was also a builder. I had been browsing various forums and knew of you, at least. Small world......
