Need help looking for a pic

Postby catrinka » Thu Feb 10, 2005 10:05 pm

Somewhere on here the other day was a pic of someone's galley that had a drawer underneath the stove pullout. Now I can't find it. Does anyone else remember it and know where it is?

Cathy, is this what your looking for? Go to the 'Hall of Fame' and take a look at 'Denny's Teardrop'.

That kitchen is AWESOME. I have a hard time seeing how it would all fit into that teardrop, however.

That trailer belongs to someone on the forum, just can't remember who. It was one of the pictures I saved when I was looking for galley ideas. I thought it was Denny's until Gage posted the picture above.

He has a whole gallery of the construction of his galley.

Brian, if you remember who the owner is let us know, I would love to look at their other photos of the build. I am trying to figure out what is going on in the right cabinet (heater for the tear?). Do you know?

Yes indeed, who built that wonderful kitchen? It ought to be on FoodTV. I am utterly humbled.

That is an awesome galley. Someone has a real need to prepare food far beyond the basics. My wife would kill me if I proposed a galley that impressive. She doesn't like to cook whilst on vacation...any more than I do.

I too, would like to see some further photos...that is really impressive.

Amy,
It looks like an ice drawer to me.
I searched and searched, but came up goose eggs. :(

I did find another slide out galley.
(Maybe this is the one that Cathy is looking for)

Here's a front view of the teardrop I posted: Image

I really can't remember whose teardrop it is, but I got those pics from the 9th annual dam photo gallery, so I bet Grant would know.

OK,
I checked out Grant's pics of that gathering and the image tag says, "Larrys Tear."
I'm not sure what Larry that would be....

There are some awesome setups there but none of them are the one I was thinking of. It was on the board just a few days ago. It had a pull out shelf for the stove and under the shelf was a drawer that I'm assuming was for cooking utensils. I wanted to print it out to show Bob.

Cathy, look at the one I posted of Denny's again a little closer. That's what he has under the 'pull-out' for the stove. I've only seen one other like that, but I don't remember where I saw it.

Have a good day,
Gage
