Transporting a tear to Washington State...??

Postby Seattle G60 » Thu Mar 03, 2005 11:11 am

Hello all,
Well I finally joined the Teardrop community; I picked up a 1946 KIT trailer off ebay yesterday. :D

Here's the rub...It is in California and I am in Seattle, Wa.
Does anyone know of someone that can haul a tear up here or would be headed this direction from California in the next week or two?

I called several shipping companies and they required the trailer to be crated...$$ cha! ching!

I am also calling around to some of the car haulers in the area, but I think the tear would get much better treatment if it was transported by someone in the teardrop community.

I'd be willing to fortify the gas fund if someone was headed this direction or even headed to Oregon and I could meet you.

Hey Jay,
Is that the one from Fontana? I couldn't go that far South but if anyone could ferry it to Northern Ca, ie. San Francisco or farther north, I might be able to relay it on to you at least as far as Portland. I am located in Eureka CA and might be going to the Portland Swap meet around April 1.

Let me know if I can help.

Hi Doug,

Actually the seller has agreed to drive it up to southern Oregon for a fee.
gas + some $$.

I have family down there so I think I am good to go.

Thanks for the help.
