People in Phoenix (kinda off topic, sorry)

Hey everyone, I know there are several teardroppers here in the Phoenix area (I met a few already), you all seem like a good lot of folks, so I need to ask a favor.
I live here in Scottsdale, in an apartment. We bought a house but it will not be ready until mid-October. I really need a place to work on my car for a few days, as they will not let me do any work here in the parking lot.
I need to adjust my valves and lifters, put on a new master cylinder, tune the car, and get my exhaust pipe clamped to the frame properly.
If there is anyone around here who would be willing to let me use thier garage or covered driveway for a few days, I sure would appreciate it.
Would like to get the ol Chevy running right for the car shows and then get it somewhere to have a hitch installed for my upcoming trailer project.
