I read they are being redesigned on one site, but there is no information on the website.
I have the two burner Zodi model tent heater that I bought new back in 2004....Only trouble with the unit would be with the wimpy 12 volt fan that come with it.....I have a small 12 volt fan that was used to blow out gases from man holes when workers are down under the ground that is real small and quite powerful that I plan on using on my heater this winter here in cold Florida......The Zodi heater burners work very well and could heat up a mid-sized camping trailer with out a problem but just think you need to upgrade the wimpy blower that comes with these units....The single burner one would be great for a teardrop trailer.....The real problem as I see it with the Zodi headers is, if the fan brakes down in the middle of the night the burners keep running, then yes that could cause a fire is not even an explosion because the propane tank is right there so you need to keep that hot air flowing at all times when the burner or burners are running for it not to cause a problem.....Hope this info. was helpful......"Season's Greetings" from the the gator!
