I'd be surprised if there was a Matrix here. There seems to be more VW's. Of course now, someone will jump on and prove me wrong!

I have a 2003 Matrix and it tows my tear very well. Haven't weighed the tear yet, but I estimate it to be around 700-750lbs...The Matrix is rated for 1500lbs.
Had an Echo before, it will tow fine but the brakes are just too small.

small brakes with alot of weight dont go well with fast stops, might want to beef up your brakes.

Thanks, guys. Of course, now I just saw an ad for the Dodge Magnum. Sheesh! That car is very fine! I did like what I saw today of the matrix, and it would look great pulling a tear. All these great new cars are out and it's been fun to dream. I sure appreciate the knowledge here. If anyone's ever in NE or the Omaha area, we'd love to meet you and maybe treat you to an Omaha Steak! Have a great weekend!

Okay, now you have to tell me all about your Omaha steaks. What makes them so great?

And yes, Happy Indepence Day to everyone...

Last year I got this picture in my back yard... see the gas grill in the picture. I wonder if I can get my Baja Benroy in the picture this year instead of the gas grill?

I don't know what makes Omaha steaks so great....all the hormones they pump the cattle with? lol No, I think it's that they're corn-fed beef. I hear Texas steaks are the best, from people in Texas. I just like steak from about anywhere. Just biased on Nebraska beef. I cheer for the local herds.

The beef from the store is ok but once you have fresh beef you dont want to go back. This way I also know what is going into the cow. I go organic on are meat.
