Out of parts, Must be done!!!

Postby Steve Frederick » Thu Jul 15, 2004 9:12 pm

Sorry that I've not posted in a while. The push was on to get the Tear ready to go to Mystic this weekend. Well I made it!!! I just came in from cleaning and dusting!
I fretted a lot over the hatch hindging, I worried for nothing. Everything went well!
I did have a fit over the running lights. It seems that all parts manufacturers don't follow the yellow/left green/right etc code. After I got a multimeter out, It got figured out.
I'll update the journal with details of the last couple of week's work, as well as the Mystic gathering, when I get back. I'll let y'all know how things shake out too.

Nice Steve!

Fantastic work. Hope to see it soon! Enjoy Mystic.

Kate and I have only been back from Fish Creek Pond a day and a half, and well be returning there for 3 more days tommorrow.

Look forward to your updates.

Ryan, The sides are maple ply, the top is cedar strips, the galley is maple and birch (very similar looking woods).
Just got back form Mystic, the trailer and the weekend were great!
Tear Jerkers is a great bunch, very freindy!
I'll post pictures , maybe, tommorrow(Mon).
P.S. That's me in the blue tee with my Tear and Ross Wade.
