Just curious. What does your trailer weigh and include the size please? Oh, and tongue weight too!
(A) 4'x8' Cubby, approx. 820lbs loaded, 95lb tongue weight.
Heres where most of the weight comes in:
HF trailer weighs in 240 lbs. (1800 lb capacity)
Floor - (1) 4'x8' sheet of 1/2" ply.
Sides - (2) 4'x8' sheet of 3/8" ply.
Galley wall/cupboards - (1?) 3/4" sheet ply.
Roof skinning and inside sheeting - (6) 5'x5' 1/8" sheet birch ply.
Assorted 2x4's, etc..for framing/Spars
Deep-Cycle Battery is really heavy. (40 pounds?)
I would guess the pvc outer skin weighs in at approx... 30-40lbs?
(We have both front and back inside cupboard space)
(B) Tongue length from front tip to front of trailer is 4 feet exactly!
Weight seems to really add up in a hurry!
Thanks,
Bev
