Thanks, all. I've been doing small camp trips and checking in, now and again. I'll update the spreadsheet this weekend.

Sharon-That's a lot of work you've done; I hesitate to point out one omission: in the statistical summary portion, you didn't add in my 1438 lbs in the 4x8 category. Maybe intentional, because mine is so far off the norm that it skews (screws?) the averages? Anyway, good work, again!

Gee, working on it, it should have automatically been recalculated. Hmmm.... Not a problem. I can ask the Excel program to recalculate and then I'll reprint that page. Give me a few minutes and I'll recreate that page. I didn't even check because it's supposed to be automatically done. Thanks for catching that so quickly! :)

Thanks to all who have contributed! To date, we have 108 trailers listed.
Below is what I am calling the "Updated Final Draft". I know that these are not the best photos (my scanner needs to be "retired".)
However, if you see something that needs correcting please let me know and I will try to accommodate any necessary changes.

March 14, 2014, Please note: Spreadsheets have been updated and moved to page 1.

Oh, boy! It looks like I'm going to have to update this list again! I'll wait a while and see if anybody else chimes in with more information, though....

Thanks to all of you. Giving your information helps others.

5x10, with 4' tongue, and sandwiched walls. 1380 pounds with the battery. It's the one in my signature line.

The Coffin weighed in today.

Image

I know it's not the most accurate method, but one tire on the scale came in at 205. The other tire came in at 195. Tongue down, that weighed 70lbs. (I leveled it for an accurate tongue weight, that's 65 lbs.)

By my math, the total weight is around 470lbs. Since the method isn't entirely perfect, I'll figure for a + or - of 10%. So the whole thing weighs between 423-517 lbs. Since my design goal was 500 lbs., I'll call it a winner!

Sharon, I hate to do this, but here's the latest data on my ever-morphing trailer build, as long as you're updating your table:
    Total trailer weight 1515 lbs
*LCG from rear - 55.5 inches
Weight on axle 1345 lbs (88.8% of total wt.)
Weight on each wheel 672 lbs
Weight on hitch 170 lbs (11.2% of total wt.)
*FURTHER NOTE: from another spreadsheet, calculated vertical center of gravity is 28.7 inches
Additional info:
Body length from rear - 98.0625 inches
Hitch center from rear - 140.6875 inches
Wheel center from rear - 44.75 inches
FYI, TMI, LSMFT (whoops!, got carried away there....)
