I have met a number of those that did the one duct and they made the same 'cold and wet' comment.

This will slide to the center and meet with ducts....probably use some closed cell foam type gasket configuration...

I finally got mine in. Happy with it now. It may look like a wart of the front of my tear, but I like it!

Thank you, gentlemen. The wart looks fine. I see much craftsmanship in that "wart"

I came really close to doing mine like this. Inside it would sit in a cabinet. Open hatch, slide out on drawer slides, use it, done slide in, close hatch. I would not have had the outside braces though.

In the end, I couldn't give up the inside cabinet space. I put it above my bed headboard in a space not being used by anything else. This is what mine looks like inside before I finished it. All painted and trimmed now.

I believe that a close look at the optional air conditioning on the Camp Inn trailers may add another idea to this. Their installation is virtually invisible on the outside of the tear (only exterior vent is visible). It does take up some storage space in the center of your over bed cabinet/galley cabinet though. It is worth a look see. The air conditioner is usable with the hatch closed and locked. They (Camp Inn) may use a metal liner or coating to protect the wood at the exhaust end of the air conditioner and to collect the water to a drain line to the bottom of the trailer. Very neat installation. Pull out AC unit from front in cabin for servicing.
