portable airconditioner - Teardrop

we plan to be at the Grand Canyon and The keys on most of are trips so a bit over kill to you might be just right for me. I plan to use one but I am using mine in warmer conditions.

Hi Ryan,
Well, the $600.00 dollar tag is WAY too much for me.
Living in Michigan, I really won't use the air conditioning all that much.
What would be nice though is to use it if we're camping in TN.

We're thinking we will do a "cobble" job of sorts, throw the air-conditioner outside the tear...and run a hose from the air conditioner through the top vent. Won't have a very professional look... but hopefully would work.
I've been told a 6" round hose should work. We'll also have to make up some sort of cover for both ends to attach to vent and airconditioner.

Thanks to everyone though for all the ideas. Something that won't work for me, still might work for someone else :)
