few pics of the little progress on the standee. Some of my unique additions are proving to be harder to
construct that I had imagined.......but we're getting there slowly but surely..

A few of the unique features of my build are 1. the stargazer window. You can see it right over
the galley door. still a bit rough at the moment but I'll polish it up as I get nearer to completion.

2. the rotating lcd screen. This replaces the otherwise blank wall on the back of the galley. I will mount a 40
' tv that can be viewed outside and when i want to come in or the weather is unfavorable
i can simply rotate it around so that it can be used/ viewed from the inside of the camper.

3. the mini slide-out.... haven't begun work on that just yet. still in the design stage

Well , sorry you got hurt and could not finish. But I think it's wise to have a short trip under your belt to be sure everything's right before taking a long trip.

well festival trip is this saturday but won't be taking the standee as it's not completed nor tested. I'm at about 75%.
Heres a photo from today. The 4 12" piano hinges are stainless, but to prevent leakage of water into the galley I'm gonna take some aluminum strips and also go purchase a bicycle inner tube, cut it length ways to create a long rubber seal that will cover the hinges and door gap.
