Brojects mini cottage

Postby mallymal » Sat Aug 26, 2017 1:51 pm

Hi from across the pond
We've only just started getting episodes of Brojects, where two brothers make all kinds of crazy stuff in the grounds of their family cottage in Canada.

Normally I find these entertaining, but I found one ridiculous. They built a mobile cottage..... talk about heavy.... the side walls and even the roof was built out of 2x4s!! And no visible insulation. Really? In a Canadian spring with snow everywhere?

Not sure if this vid will work in your region, but here ya go...

Man, you would have to drink a lot of beer so that the bugs, skeeters and black flies didn't bother you with that wide open wall. I would think the bugs would be pretty miserable at least three seasons a year.

 I don't think they did much research before they planned and built.

I like the construction graphic at the beginning. Looks like something you'd haul to your fish camp and leave it there.

 I, too, was thinking that it looked like one of those fish shacks that they put on frozen lakes. Maybe that's where they got their ideas.

There sure is a lot of them in my area! They even have 5th wheel models! Nicer than the the places I lived in during my college years!
