I was just addressing this concern which was in response to my claification that propane can be stored for centuries NP.

I believe new DOT-type metal bottles are 15 years from mfg date, then need re-cert inspection every ten years.

Stamped right on the collar. True even for aluminum, which of course don't rust.

I doubt you'd actually have much trouble with the Viking tanks in practice, quiet confident manner expecting success.

Worst case carry the DOT cert docs, maybe a notarized letter from the US distributor put impressive official looking stamps on it.

Nice bonus thing is, they're transparent, see the level at a glance.

Aluminum can corrode and does.
