Gave the Escape Pod a bath, and got a wild hare (hair?) to try polishing the aluminum. After 30 minutes the hatch looked a little shinier - but the time investment to outcome ratio convinced me to do something more constructive:

Excited for a little 4 day trip up to the north country this weekend to just hang out, read, eat, drink, smoke (cigars) and relaaaaaaaax. Solar panel and charge controller work beautifully to keep the new deep cycle topped off, even while running the roof vent all day (in case it's warm and she needs venting throughout the day).

I finally put on studs and a bungie to hold my head board hatches closed.

truck's loaded = trailer's hooked up = bed just got made for the early exit tomorrow morning for the 100 mile drive to The Last Gasp across the water from me. (located 15 mile from me as the crow fly's - but a 100 mile drive being I have to leave my island -Camano Island- to get to their island just across the water from me - Whidbey Island is a 'great drive' no matter the amount of miles to be driven!!!)   :wine:

Hoping to take mine on its first campout away from home this weekend. Too cold here in the Texas hill country to do much today. I did publish my build gallery here on TNTTT. See it here: http://invaluablist.com/teardrops_galleries_build.php
