Ymmv. At 50% usability your battery is likely shot.

I’m also not running a drill.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Thanks guy's . I'll be doing some measuring and try to fit the biggest possible in this box for my minimalist electrical system.
Found some LED strips that I can turn on/off 4 different zones.
Also at work, I had to tear down a old crown vic police car and found something they use to add more accessories without drawing more power. It came with 3 cigarette outlets . Once I dig it out and research what exactly it does.

Right now I made cabinets where just a shelf was and gotta repaint the inside.

Wireless/rechargeable LED lamps have come a long way. This is what I'm using for my galley lighting, no reason they couldn't be deployed inside. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06 ... UTF8&psc=1

So far they seem to be working great. I recharge when I get back home. On a longer trip just plug into my usb port.

Those look cool. Let us know about battery lifetime, please.

One more question.
Am I able to charge these types of batteries with a normal like car charger on 2 amp ?

And what about tow vehicle charging ???
I still need to run a charging wire from my XJ jeep.

For the SLA batteries in 2-7 Ah range, I use a small automotive type charger. It does 1.5 amps IIRC.

I measured my tongue box and have a height of 5.5" . I still need to find a battery that'll fit. Until then.....
I was looking for some sort of swamp cooler since I've killed my 3rd ac unit (vibrations break the ac lines).

I found this little 12v swamp cooler that uses a computer fan. It was cheap and we'll see how it goes. If not then maybe I can modify OR build my own.

Reviews I take with a grain of salt cause some people just dont get how things work mechanically.

And you are aware of course that evaporative (swamp) coolers work well only when the humidity is below about 30-40%. I.e., in the desert.

Yes. The majority of my camping is desert.

Esteban wrote:marinebeam.com/interior-led-lighting has a very good selection of LED light fixtures to choose from. Several fixtures have built-in dimmer switches. Some interior lights can be switched from white light to red (or green or blue) light to help protect your night vision.

I bought two Marinebeam reading lights with touch dimming for the sleeping cabin...

I just looked up marinebeam.com and I really like this reading lamp! It fits the style I'm going for much better than the automotive curtesy lights I was going to use. Thanks!

I love the look of this one!

For inside my camper there are two original dome style with LED bulbs in the sockets. I added battery powered motion sensor lights and regular LED flashlights for additional convienience. I figured that replacing AA and AAA batteries on a seasonal basis was easier than trying to wire anything permanent. It also makes it easy to upgrade when something new comes along.

I have thought about this. Amazing how long those lil HF puck lights last when used very little.
Maybe only needing a battery to run a computer fan OR my lil swamp cooler when it's super hot.

I know this thread is old but this is what I when with.

I am going with two of these as the cabin lights(warm lights are harder to find)$13.50 https://www.ebay.com/itm/251460421124

4 of these as the porch and galley lights $20.72 https://www.ebay.com/itm/183444789333
I could get by with one in the galley but they come as two packs and it will reduce shadows.

a 5 gang switch by the door of my teardrop-standy $7.70 https://www.ebay.com/itm/153190453545
I also found that it is nicer to be able to turn the galley light on from inside the cabin if you don't have lifting shocks and when One forget to turn the galley light off

So I will have $42 in lights. Boy things add up !! But it is nice to not have to hold a flash light when setting up in the dark and finding your shoes for the midnight run to the can.
