How do they print an article about Teardrops and Not mention Camp Inn? They are the standard by which others are measured.

depends on 'your' definition of standards - does KOA even know what a Camp Inn is? Camp Inn's have only been built since 2002, yet KOA since something like 1962 - Camp Inn may not be even old enough to rate in their minds being they are so 'old' in comparison................. just a thought - take care

Neat article.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

I have a hunch that the author just didn't know all that much about teardrops. After all, Camp Inn has been around longer than a couple of the others that she wrote about. Then again, she might have been going for a smaller business approach. None the less, it's a nice article.

Better than no news but was not researched very thoroughly. As much as Camp-Inn is the class act, T@b does not belong. Teardrop is more than just a shape.

I've seen some home builts that surpass Camp Inn.
There's several manufactures that have copied their interior and galley Birch plywood construction.

Camp Inn probably didn't want to pay to be in the article

A friend has ordered an Aero Teardrop. If she does not step up I will offer my own opine when I see it. They seem to have 2-3 basic styles which they customize to the buyers wishes, 5x8, 6x10 and off road. I thought I paid a lot, $8K when I got mine 16 years ago. Prices have doubled.

I agree with dmb90260. The article was not very well researched.

They lost me at the second sentence. "The late 1940s also saw more teardrops traveling along America’s interstates." The interstate highway system wasn't authorized by congress until 1956.

If you are going to write an article about history, you should at least get your history accurate.

But, for general information, it was entertaining.
