I plan to honor the Civil War dead by working on our teardrop, which we hope will someday take us to some of the battle fields. (Much like the American Civil War, the teardrop is taking longer than originally anticipated.)

Might even open some shop windows, if it'll ever stop snowing. (Enough to stick on 21 May 19, at 7000 ft, East Mountains NM)

We took the Astroliner out to one of our favorite little lakeside spots. It rained a bit today but we watched Team Penske and the Chevys dominate Indy. Then taught my boys how to make a perfect s'more. ImageImageImageImage

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) said it made 741 DUI arrests statewide during the first 30 hours of Memorial Day weekend.

Living as close as I do, I avoid going to the market

Our first northern trip.
Usually I avoid this weekend and stay home but..... I was able to get a few spots at Yellowstone. Rained most of the week , still turned out great.
1st stop was Bear world in Rexburg Idaho then 2 nights at Madison c.g. and 2 more at Bridge bay c.g.
(This turned out to be the tiny trailer capitol of Yellowstone) .

Moved south for a night in lava hot springs. Terrible night, trains going every hour and using the horn alot.

The last night was at Lake Walcott . GPS is awful in lower Idaho . It had us get off at American falls, which eventually left us in a farmer's field on the other side of the river.
Both phones came up with this route.
An hour later we arrived at a great camp site with great views and weather.

Wanted to go to castle rocks & city of rocks but a nasty looking storm was approaching and decided to save it for another time.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

When we got back to the freeway I kept thinking .
((Slow -- warned me about this))

Got a map at exit 216 but the details were awful in this area so... we stopped at the Minidoka county museum. The girl there had a better map and she pointed us in the right direction. Great place to check out.

If ya get the chance hwy 34 between Freedom and soda springs is a pretty drive.

Looks like the seal I put around the door is worse than what I had , I'll be changing that out soon. Again.
