No Thank You - will stay with my 'real' teardrop - being from the Pacific NW, this looks just a bit 'wet' and cold for me... but yes, it is interesting looking and in a warmer climate, it maybe fine.............I would like to see one close up 'live'

At 300 pounds how long do you think those popup would last in any type of wind? Does a person really want a teardrop that will have to dry out before packing up?

The design is interesting, but I'm hugely cynical about anything that is nylon; it't tent fabric and will die relatively quickly from a lot of UV exposure.

For example, check out this ridiculously expensive trailer TENT. It's a TENT, on a trailer:

The nice thing about a teardrop (in my limited experience in sleeping in one when we rented a Little Guy over a long weekend) is that it's very quiet inside. Same with sleeping in our van. Super restful and get a great night's sleep.

When we used our pop-up trailer, you can hear every little sound and it's not very restful at all.
