How did you mount your Flexiride Torsion Axle ?

When your chassis is tube. This is what I do. Put a hole on the side of the tube (1" hole saw or bigger). Insert bolt and tack weld it. Cover whole with electrical plate. Hard to explain but it works for me.

We built two trailers with flexiride full axles
We bolted the axle to the frames on both. Used the standard top mount.
Drilled out an oversize hole in top tube wall to allow fastener head and socket to pass through
The fasteners clamp only the lower tube wall to the axle mount.

What was the frame tubing you used? 2x2 or 2x3 ?
