Window: Looking for supplier

Postby Capebuild » Thu Feb 18, 2021 11:28 am

Hello. I'm asking if anyone has any suggestions for a glass supplier that can provide a front window similar to what's used in a Vistabule trailer.
I'm realizing the profile of my trailer will be based on the window I wind up using based on the radius of the window (see attached). So, I first need to establish
the exact measurements/configuration of that window. If I can find a windshield or rear windshield used in a current auto, that might work, but those tend to be compound curves.

Thank you for any help/suggestions.

Thats a long shot, you might be better off using a rear window seal from a truck, or bus or something and a piece of lexan. ( polycarbinate )

It can be heated and bent and wont shatter.

I realize I might be chasing something unobtainable. Vestibule must get their front window from "somewhere". Unless they have it specially made for them. I've been looking at vans, trucks, buses....
the issue is most windshields or windows have angled sides whereas I'm looking for something with straight (parallel) sides .... and just a curve in the X axis. Thanks for the tip on the rubber gasket site.

I know Coach Glass makes the door glass and porthole windows for Vistabule, but I don’t know about the front and back windows. What did you come up with, John?
