A/C leaking into teardrop

Postby ajm203 » Sat Jul 31, 2021 2:01 pm

Hi all,
We have a teardrop with an A/C mounted on the back (the end where a galley would be if there were a galley). We have some trouble with rain getting in through the A/C and inside the teardrop. We have a small cover that we put on the A/C but it doesn't quite cover all of the vents. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix?
Thanks in advance!

Amy, send some detailed photos and you'll probably get some good advice. I'm sure the folks here will make it worth your while to learn to post a few pics.

AC should not be exchanging air with the outside, where all of the heat is vented.
The leak is likely from some part of the case/housing, or from around the case/housing.

Pics would help us give better suggestions.
