Brothers Build

So my brother has finally decided to build a trailer of his own but wants my help with it all. Me having all the tools and space to actually accomplish building one being the biggest reason why. I've agreed of coarse as I love a challenge especially a trailer build one. He has decided to go with the traditional teardrop platform of side doors and rear galley but will be keeping to a more square look rather than a curved one. There will be an angle here and there to make it a bit less box looking though.

So we grabbed a 4x8 trailer and stripped her down. Wire wheeled off any surface rust, treated it with rust nutrealizer, then painted her up. Built a storage box base and added the sleep platform to the top. Next will be some swing down doors for the bottom storage areas, Front wall, side walls, and roof complete with bracing and such. Then we will tackle the back gate and galley area. I'll try and add as many pics as I can as we go so wish us luck.

Wow, that sucker's gonna be beefy !
Figure you'll have it 'camp-able' for the Farm Gathering ?
Love to see it there, however far along you get.

Hey Brian
They registered last night! :applause:
Now to get the lead out and get it sleep ready in the next two months??
Always good to have a target date, it helps to motivate any build.
Good Luck Kirk & Kelly
Brian

if you still have some of the aluminum I sold you at last years gathering, make sure you put a piece or two on it for the "garbage bag" holders I have made more of for this year. Of course, with the tools Brian has there, I'm sure we could add a bit here or there for a bag or two. See you there. Ted Hoefer, Camano Island, Wash.
