Brian, as you know I am not attending. However, the two pennies (cents) clanging in my head say that it could be because of all the fires going on in the area. There are over 70 fires burning in the West and the majority of them seem to be up in the Washington/Idaho area. Even if the fires don't directly effect the campgrounds, the smoke and/or road closures might and that changes daily. This may be what people are thinking. Nobody down this way seems to be considering camping either. It's just a bad fire season year.
