removing rivets

Speaking of rivets. Does anyone know where to get the things that hold your pieces and holes in line temporarily while you put in the rivets. I have seen them in WW2 museums. They look kinda like metal syringe. D. TIllery

Clecos? Any aircraft supply place has em, I've also seen them in racer catalogs too.

You will probably want to get the cleco pliers too. Notice they have pricing for 50 and 100 pieces. It takes a lot of clecos to make airplanes, we had a bucket full of them at school. By the time everybody got their shop projects going, the bucket was looking pretty empty.

Yep, that's exactly what I was asking about. And every time I have seen them before they were in use by the hundreds. Cheap too! They will definitely come in handy for riveiting on trim.

Do you need the pliers to insert/remove them or can you do it by hand?
