Here is a thought – how about recessing the lights into the trailer? I had the same lights on mine but found that they were always the first to get crushed, snagged, or knocked off.
Here is a picture of what I have

Here is a shot of the finished lighting for the camper. Those are LED clearance lights and LED replacement bulbs in the round taillights.

Michele,
Great idea with the flower petals. The cabinets look awesome and I love the $6 windows.....what a deal on those.

I finally got the outside painted. The tailer is now 99% done. I just have some minor details to take care of inside. Hopefully, we will be going on our maiden voyage with the dogs next weekend. Building this trailer for the past 10 months has been such a great experience. I was able to accomplish this based soley on the information that I found on this forum. Thank you to everyone that has watched and commented on this thread.

Me, my sister and the dogs went on our first trip this weekend. This wasn't so much a trip as a test run. We were worried about how stressful it would be dealing with 4 dogs in such a small space so we camped at a site that was close to my house and only stayed one night. As it turned out, camping with the dogs was not stressful at all. We felt like we had plenty of room and the dogs were all very well behaved. Now we are ready for the real thing which will be the teardrop gathering at Anastasia next month.
