wondering if you can use fiberglass tape and resin on the corners of frp
covered tear and can you paint it with auto paint?

Glass tape and resin can be painted with automotive paint. As far as the bonding properties with FRP, I don't know, haven't worked with it, you might want to check it out with the technical staff at west systems. www.westsystems.com They got right back to me with questions that I had. Doug Hodder

A lot or truck dry boxes have FRP sides and at our truck shop we have been repairing and painting then for years with no problems. If you use FRP panels I would do your glassing using SMC compatible resin incase the material is made with SMC resin. If you use regular resin it will separate over short time.
