Today I put the aluminum on the galley hatch and had to do the trim twice. I forgot to compensate for the half inch skin. It fits but I'm not happy with the results. I'm going to figure it out but it's just going take a little more time. :frightened:

Two exciting new developments happened this week, The trailer is painted and I got my cabinet doors.
Image
The painter needs to sand it out and buff it but it is looking good!

Image
I'm going to apply the finish on these and as soon as the trailer gets back, in they go. :applause:

Looking good!

Where did you get your doors? Cabin doors, not cabinet.

Thanks, the wheels are the same as was on the 52 Chevy, painted the same color and will have beauty rings and hubcaps to match. If I ever get a flat the spare will work on the trailer or the car. The fenders will be black. Looks like I should be able to get it home today and the finish in the cabinets is coming along nicely.

As you can see the doors are on.

Next are the fenders, at least the right one.

Getting a bit closer to finishing. I only get to work on it for a couple hours after work per day. I getting the feeling that's all I do. I put the trim tape around the frames around the inside of the cabinets and varnished it with three coats. I then remounted the doors. I hope there's room to close the galley hatch.

Image
The Fantastic vent is installed.

Image
The diamond plate is on and I'm part way through putting the seals under the railing.

Image
Tail lights are on. They are for a 49 or 50 Chevy. It still needs to be wired.

There is still a ton of work to do, I hope I get it done by July 4th weekend. 8)
