tonneau pickup cap Galley Hatch

Has anyone used or built a roll-up galley hatch that work the same as a roll-up tonneau tarp pickup cap? Would seem to be a easier way to do a galley hatch. Sew up a tarp with Velcro seals.

I am not sure if this was a build on here but it might give you some ideas. I have seen at least 1 other galley hatch made from canvas or vinyl on the net. viewtopic.php?t=48139&p=923110

Thank's, I thing if I build a new foamy TD it will have a tonneau roll-up galley cover. It would not need a ridged hatch support beam and would be easy and low cost to make.

Framed this one easily and then used marine vinyl. So it has framing but ultra light.
The very top shows a screen so on nice evening the front rolled up.
