Cargo access doors

As I build our trailer I am exploring having a cargo compartment under the bed (the bed will be elevated 10” or so). Part of this space could be accessed from the inside but I would like to access the farthest back space via access doors from the outside. This space is also where I am thinking of putting the electronics (inverter, fuse / breaker boxes, internal shore power wiring, etc)
My question...
Does anyone have any tips on building the access doors, keeping them sealed, hardware required including moulding around the edges?
Any tips or video links would be great!

I used this hatch to access under the back of the bed …
