Fantastic Fan (?)

Postby les45 » Thu Nov 22, 2018 4:00 am

Has anyone installed a Fantastic Fan on a vertical wall? I've seen one on this forum but I can't seem to contact the member. Looking to see how it worked long term.

My question is now moot. The wife says the fan has to go on top. Guess I'll have to plan for that even if I have to install it after I pull the completed trailer out of the garage.

The wife has put down the foot, huh? :)

I've seen it done. Not a huge fan (no pun intended). For one thing, the fan really sticks out in the cabin. It looks a little strange. For another, it is more wear and tear on the lid. And lastly, while some fans can be left open while traveling, a wall-mounted Fan-Tastic fan certainly couldn't.

Use EternaBond tape over a Proflex RV fillet sealant over a butyl tape compression gasket, and you won't worry about roof leaks.
