Custom made windows

Postby Mountainhwy4 » Tue Jul 02, 2019 5:27 pm

Hi guys,

I was thinking of making my own side windows and stargazer window out of acrylic, did anyone have any experience with that? Any special sealant I should use with it or any special tips? I'm still working on cabinetry right now so I have a bit of time before I have to put those in. Thanks!

Not that I've ever actually thought that on a trip.... /s

Keep in mind that teardrops need a great deal of ventilation. I think two screened windows (and a roof vent with a fan) are mandatory.

There is something called a Wiley window that may work for you. Do a search hear.
