So, I was exploring the WWW. Bunnings have these:

I could solve my interior cabinet design challenges for 25 bucks!
I've got plenty of left over 7mm ply that I can machine an edge on to fit in the 5mm track.
I've used the search function but not a lot of joy
Is there any sort of show stopping reason not to use sliding cabinet doors in the cabin?
I have some nice stainless steel catches for keeeping them closed.

I used these in my build. Works very well. Avoids the cabinet doors swinging out!

I used a latch to secure them when closed like you are suggesting.
